Default Mugen Chipped P72 question

WIll i need cam upgrades in order to run a Mugen Chipped P72 ECU... 5800 vtec, 9500 Rev lim.

No, you don't have to. Just don't rev past your current limiter.

Why would you get a "Mugen" chipped ecu, instead of having a P28 chipped to your needs and specifications?

Oh yeah, and +1 to not reving past your curring rev limiter. Your motor won't make it to 9500.

That VTEC crossover is too high for stock GSR cams. You will make more overall power from the stock map. I have never seen a "Mugen" chip with IAB code either. You will also lose fuel economy.

i have a gsr swap on a JDM second gen b16a p30 ecu and i hav bettin my boys gsr hatch and he has the obd1 p72 gsr ecu and i get him all the time. why is dat?

With a decent basemap, you can attain better fuel economy .... that's about it.
