I just noticed that my car has a knocking noise that happens normally when I accelerate in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear.. normally around 1k-4k rpm's then it will go away. I still do need to replace my CV join on my passenger side but it seems like this is coming from the engine it self.. It feels like its coming from the pedal board or something.. Its like a constant knock/tick untill I reach around 4k rpm's.. It doesn't happen all the time but 3/4 times when I accelerate it does it.

 

does the CEL come on?

does it happen when you turn or brake as well or just acceleration?

 

Bump....Sometimes I have a knocking in the brake pedal when im breaking and turning.... No engine knock but was wondering what it could be from...
