Peanut butter is the shit, but only for a brief period of time
You guys may recall this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1795533
which is where I took inspiration from to do the same on my scratched and hazed out CF hood. I did the same thing with paper towel, and it made it look ok, but you could still smell it somewhat, and so I got a clean paper towel and tried wiping most of it off. Then I wet it, cleaned it off, and applied Nano wax, and it looked kinda crappy again, so I washed it again and put the peanut butter on once more. Now, peanut butter did remove the haze and scratches but it looks very very dull. Is there a way I can apply wax and buff out the hood over the peanut butter perhaps so it can stay. Its not permanent, but if it rains, it will be gone, and maybe if I wax the hood, it will stay a bit longer.
