Default any way to fix ABS plastic? pics inside.

i bought a mugen lip kit and it finally came in the mail. when i opened up the sideskirts, i see that one of them is REALLY fucked up. it looks like its been hit by a rubber mallet numerous times. is there any way i could fix it up? this guy told me to use bondo, but i don't think it would work for this because they're are a lot more than dents. it also pops out. either they sent me a fucked up product, or usps banged it up. expletive usps. they take for ever and they mishandle products.

i would try to heat it with a heat gun and try to press out those 'dents' as much as possible. then finish it with body filler. it will work on plastics as long as you scuff the surface real good and use an adhesion promoter prior to applying the filler.

good luck

i'd send it back... why bother fixing it, you didn't do those damage... file a report with your courrier company or return it for full refund...

i fixed my ITR front lip back then using UV Bonda + fibreglass, and it's been holding up very good over the past 2 years.

don't mess with it just send it back Call him and ask him to send a call tag if he used ups to ship it to you this way you don't have to be bothered as they will pick it up jsut as they dropped it off. I hope you payed for it with a credit card if there is a problem but try and work it out first
bondo doesn't work well as they definately have different expansion rates

don't just automatically claim this to your credit card. Give the seller a chance to fix the problem. Also most companies do not see the product they are sending you. They get it, put it on the shelf waiting to be sold and once it is sold they ship it out without inspecting the product. So they probally didn't know it had a problem. Just my opinion is let the seller have a chance to right the wrong

I have a set of those I would give you if you were in the area. My hatch had them and I replaced them with stockers.
