Default Question about OEM muffler, aftermarket piping......

I was wondering if I used my OEM Muffler w/ my Tanabe piping, how would that work out? I was thinking of getting 2.36" piping welded onto my OEM muffler. I want a sleeper look, no huge muffler at all. What other muffler/axle-back could I get? I don't want a an WS or Sport exhaust. Also If I put my OEM muffler on w/ 2.5" catback piping, do you think I would need to run a cat or could I go test pipe?

PS: we have NO emissions here.
any help would be great....

Oh yeah, this is for a 5th gen. w/ only mods J's racing intake & currently Tanabe G-Power catback.

Thanks

The Vibrant seems to be a good choice for what youre looking for. Do some searching and you'll see what I mean. You dont have emissions? I would have thought the Green Bay/Appleton area would have had testing requirements like down here in the Milwaukee area. Huh, good deal for you then!

I've got the tanabe g power cat back as well and love the sound of it, why don't you like yours? Its nearly stock sounding and will flow wayyy better than the oem pea shooter muffler.
