99-00 civic climate control console question?
yeah, ex and dx ones light up that yellowish green color...and the SI is the only one that lights up amber, unless you can get a ex one and find some bulbs that are reddish and put them in there, but for oem the SI is the only one, which is why people would rather have those instead of the ex/dx ones

yep. You cant buy the si bulbs and put them in an ex / dx / lx climate control piece either (at least not the 3 buttons) as the bulbs are different sizes and the si ones will NOT fit.

Are you positively sure? In the two diagrams, they are the same exact bulb, but obviously with different colored condoms.

Wait, I'm a little confused to the outcome of this thread. Can you put 99-00 si bulbs in your 99-00 dx? I just ordered some from honda a couple of days ago. I figured they would plug right in. If they wont plug in, will they atleast come with the amber condoms that I could take off and put on the stock ones?

They plug right in. You just have to know how to get at them. And no, the condoms won't be usable once you take them off. They're heatshrunk, so they're super tight. Chances are you will rip them taking them off.
