Default dx si wiring harness differences

This isnt another one of those can i use a si harness to do mpfi. Im helping my friend get his car put together. He has a 90 si and he is putting in a 88 dx motor that i did the mpfi conversion on when the motor was in the other car a few months back. My question is on the passenger side shock tower there is plug with 6 wires going to it. What are those wires for and on the driver side shock tower the si part has a plug with 8 wires and the dx one has 11. I know that 4 of them are for the injectors and the other is for the resistor box power and the other is for the eacv. so thats six im still wondering what the other 2 are for. I was looking at a wiring diagram and one wire the blue one says that it is for the alt. but i cant find were the other wire goes. On the dx harness since it has 11 wires on the driver side shock tower i was thinking that the plug on the passenger side that has the 6 wires, that those 6 go to 6 on the driver side and then go into there sensors but that still leaves wires going nowere. I was looking at colors on the si side to the dx side on the driverside of the car and two are the same and i think that they are for the eacv. so if those are right that leaves me with two wires that im not sure were they go on the dx side if those 6 on the passenger side can be ran over to the driver side and go to the sensors and then the two on the si side on the driver side of the car that im not sure were they go.

Sorry for the jibber jabber i know its probly hard to understand. I really just need to know the differences and i can figure it out from there.
