Just bought my first b-series for my eg. It's a 98 Long block, I need to get a couple parts before I drop it in. One is a header, i was wondering if the exhaust manifolds are different between the gsr and ls to bolt up on the head. I know for fact the intake manifolds are not inter-changeable from ls and vtec heads...

 

94-99 gs-r has a different length header/exhaust manifold than all of the other models.

 

does this also apply to the aftermarket
most headers list as all integra 94+

Yes this applies to aftermarket. Most major aftermarket companies won't just say 94+... I tend to see that mostly on ebay.

94-99 GS-R has a different length

94-01 RS/LS/GS/SE/ITR & 00-01 GS-R all have the same length

 

ls/rs/gsr/itr/ctr/ etc... all share the same bolt pattern i take it, was my question.

 

Yes, all B series share the same bolt pattern from an integra whatever to a b16

 

they all bolt up to the head the same way but the length of the bottom piece connecting to the cat is different length
