Hey guys,

Tried searching....that didnt work out to well so here goes....

I have a EF8 SiR am about to swap in a S80 gearbox, the car came with an ACT street disk and flywheel that was on the Y1 box.

Long story short can i use this clutch with the S80?

Depends on what year the motor/tranny combo was the clutch was originally installed with. If I'm not wrong the tranny splines are different count for 88-89, 90-91 and 92-up. Your S80 will work with any B series clutch for a '92 and up. if your clutch was for a '90-91 Y1 tranny then you need to get a clutch for any '92up B-series.

You cannot use the Y1's clutch with the S80 transmission. You need a '92+ Integra clutch.

Doesn't the S80 transmission use a hydraulic clutch actuator mechanism? In that case, you'd also need Hasport's clutch conversion kit, or you'll have to install a complete hydraulic clutch system . . .

you can use the pressure plate, it is the same regardless of the year, you need a new throwout bearing and a new disc.
