Default Sleeve prices and suggestions please!

heres the situation im wanting to run 20 pounds of boost . I have a b16 right now but i definately want a 1.8l. I have priced block sleeving at golden eagle and they said 850 plus shipping, im cool with that i also priced darton east they wanted 1500 shipping included. But how does the golden eagle compare to the darton m.i.d's. I live in ohio so shipping will be pricey and im really only wanting to spend 1000-1200. The block is going to cost me 150 on top of that price.I have spent forever trying to find an answer, Any Ideas?

honestly you can run that boost on stock sleeves because you usually wont make over 500 at 20 psi. how much POWER do you want to make? Golden eagle will take just about anything you throw at it. All of them are really good sleeves.

Im shooting for 500whp for now but eventually i will just want more. I know where i can get a sleeved gsr block for 900 is it worth it? Also if i send a block off to get sleeved do i have to get it bored and honed too and how much extra is that?

yep benson is in idaho now. but you still go through laskey for his services.

whatever sleeves you go with will hold whatever kind of power you can throw at it provided you have a good tune.

You pay for shipping there and they do the block and the extra 50 covers return shipping to anywhere in the US.

I went on their website and it said they had no sleeved blocks. I called camp 1320 and the everything with shipping back to me was 931 so I think Im going to go through them, but is it more expensive going through them because there like a middle man.

no camp is cheaper and the way to go.

when you ship your block just send it fed ex it only cost me like 47 bucks to ship it to him.

also there are block sending instructions on Goldeneaglemgfg.com

oooook!! that guy went from GE, to RS, to Valley machine, to JG and who else next...?? says bad things about which ever company he is not with.

IB rods are stock shelf rod from china same place probe rods get there rods from.

anyone remember when he use to knock on jg products, looks like IB vavletrain is relabeled JG pro series look at the orange springs and the retainers made by JG.

IB is weisco wd dealer.
looks like JG sells wiesco pistons now... hmmm lets put 2 and 2 together.

Why is IB banned on h-t .?
