intermediate ZC shaft into hf engine?
Will the intermediate zc shaft bolt int he hf engine block?
I know I need the zc differential to fit the larger ZC transmission splines. Done, have it.
The problem is I got underneath the car and searched for the three wholes where the half shaft should bolt, (right below the oil filter and by the right side of the alternator bracket right?) and didn't found them.
Or should it bolt in the same holes has the alternator bracket????
Only found one hole, but i did my best to squeese under the car and it was hard to see things right, so I might have missed it.
Who knows it?

IIRC, USDM 1.5l motors do not have the provisions for running an intermediate shaft.
why do you want to stick with the HF motor while at the same time swap out to the shortest geared d trans? kind of defeating the purpose of each other. running a fuel efficient motor at high rpms, or a short geared trans on a motor that wont let you benefit from it.
throw in an SI motor, most of them have the holes already drilled and tapped for the shaft

I still have the same gearbox, my intention was to keep the same engine/gearbox, but replace the axles only.
I knew the differential would bolt in the case, so i got everything, but now i guess It is useless.
I also asked about the hf engine because that seems as the closest engine to what I've got.
My engine is the D14a1 sold in EDM marekets (1.4l DualCarb mkII crx) but I think it is the same casting as the hf engine because of the small diammeter bearings. I also think D13 should be the same casting. (I really wanted to stay with this engine because of rod/stroke, since I want to rev it.)
Can someone say if I'm me right/wrong? Are the d14 equal to hf blocks?
