need more power any suggestions?
I have a 95 ex coupe w/D16Z6 (70,000 miles). The engines internals are all stock but I have the following done to it: DC (4-2-1) header, 2.5 inch mandrel bend ehxaust w/Skunk 2 muffler, AEM short ram intake, Skunk 2 66mm throttle body, Skunk 2 intake manifold, MSD 6AL ignition, race plug wires and V-power plugs, it has a Apxi V-AFC II and has been tuned to 110 whp but since then I took off the AC, power stearing and stripping the trunk dropping about 70 lbs. So now I would think the car is more like 116 whp. I always use 93 octain gas and do regular oil changes with synthetic oil. Basicaly I have just made the car breath better and in the future when I get it ported and polished with a new Skunk 2 top end it will respond better. But are their anyother things other then dropping more weight or forced induction (including spray) I can do to givve me more puwer. I have heard of others putting in bigger injectors or putting a fuel pressure regulator in for increased fuel but without more air (they both had N/A cars) I don't really think it would do much. Any help would great

I will be doing a big build in the future but want to do a smaller one to start off on so I have some experiance before I tackle a build on a 1.8 with pretty much every thing done to it thats out there on the market (after I get out of college and start making some real money) so thats why I want to do a small scale build on the D-series.
you've got all the bolt on's covered. do a cam and pistons. fuel components wont do anything for you except giving you a lighter wallet.
short of boost, you wont get big hp gains from anything else.
