Which dash will fit in an 89 civic hatch dx? Can i put a CRX dash in, if so what year(s)? And can i put in any other 88-91 dash into the car, besides an 89? thanx

i have an 88 crx si in mine. i like it!

 

i put a 90 crx dash in my 89 si. it rules, plus you can change over to the SiR cluster like me

hmm i dont know about you guys, but like the like civic dash w/integra cup holder and arm rest piece. has anybody done the opposite and put a civic dash into a crx?

 

my friend just did it in his hatch, and it does look very nice

 

i put the newer integ center console in mine ~ cup holders are the **** !!!!!

 

my friend was wondering will the door panels fit too?

 

so the parts needed for the conversion is

climate control?
gauge cluster?
all the wires so the defroster and hazards are on the right spot?

 

i think it's best if you reuse your ac/heater controls..those things are a pain to hook up. you only need a different gauge cluster if you're putting a 90-91 in an 88-89 or vice versa..then there are wiring issues as well. a lot of the switches are also different going from 88-89 to 90-91, but w/ a little creativity you can make it work.
