Them being "gay" is in the eye of the beholder.

I used to have them in my accord. They were kind of ricey, but the visibility at night was nice. If I had my accord today, I would probably still have them on. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy another set or put them on my civic, but they're really not that bad.

So if you like them, fvck what anyone else has to say.

If it matters to you what people think of your car or your modifications, and it'll bother you when people make fun of your car, then don't put them on. If you have a backbone you can call your own, and you like them .... then go for it.

No, I hated on your car because you're a reknob. If you had been a chill ************ and hadn't have gotten all super-butthurt when people said they didn't like your car, then maybe you would have gotten some better treatment.

But alas, you cried like a bitch with a skinned knee and whined because people didn't like your rice rocket.

PS - There's a vast difference in aesthetic quality between some indiglo gauges and the ugliest wheels I've ever seen.

Not to sound negative but good luck with 'em. I bought a cheap set off of ebay, different seller though. The first set I bought burnt out within about 2 months, max. I informed them, they stated that they'd send me a new pair for the shipping costs, did that, and got the new ones. I installed those and they lasted me less than 2 weeks. I quit on the glow gauge thing. Trial and error taught me that you have to spend the big bucks on 'em if you want the good ones. Not worth it for a little glow.

Yes, they are considered "ricey" ... but if you like them, so what? It's apparent that you liked them enough to buy them, but don't like them enough to have the ***** to do what you want to.

A better alternative is to buy an SiR II cluster. But honestly, it's not going to look any different from having indiglos, except instead of lighting up amber under the numbers, it'll just glow blue or green.

Seriously, do what you want.

Yeah, do what you like. Make a bodykit out of milk cartons for all we care. If you like it, good for you. I mean, really, it's ******* great if you like it.

But... don't be surprised if other people laugh at you.

I like parking poles. I'm short too, so they actually have a use for me (no, I really can't see anythign but the top of my hood towards the glass). My friend has basket weaves on a DAP hatch. Now, people have flamed about parking poles a lot. "If you need this then you shouldn't even be driving," they say. My friend has people personally flame him about the basket weaves. For awhile he didn't understand. He likes them, why should other people try so hard to hate what he has? Why shoudl they put it down? Well, they just don't like it. Big deal. He's now figured out he doesn't really care that much. His car is different and it's going for the vision he wants.

What I'm trying to say in a nutshell is, it's awesome if you like something, but just don't be surprised if someone else doesn't like it. Sure, it feels good when someone compliments your car, but sometimes that's just not going to happen. It's not that big of a deal.

Oh, lets be manly and call out a person's car because they don't like you.

Yes, I have a car. Yes, I work on it. I was actually under my car working on it on Wednesday.

If you'd like to see pictures of my car, you can look here. Say what you'd like about my car, your opinion does not concern me.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1794393

And I'm on here "24/7" because I don't have to wrench on my car every day. It's in perfect running condition except for maintenance. I also have a relatively relaxed home-life and an office at work that affords me downtime. I'm here to teach and to learn. This concept seems beyond some people.

they are just as gay as alteza and unpainted body kits...

just get the jdm gauges, it will be alot easier to do. You dont have to expletive around with stripping your cluster and risk breaking it

Well I have had them in my car for about 6 years with no problems. I like them, but I also have have C2 guages that match them day and night. They are a little ricey to me at times but I like to have things match. So its up to you, you can put them in and see for your self.

i like the look of the JDM sirII ones but how the hell am im supposed to keep up with the speed limit if its in kilometers,do i need to have a side mounted eletronic speed display or something damn i cant beleive most tuners actually swap these clusters in.Dont get me wrong i love them however its just too much havin it display km/h.I figure everyone memorizes it so they can convert on the spot. Now to the main topic thse are kinda ricey but ive seen them im person and IMO they are pretty bright which is a good thing.
