I got my type-s cams 3 years ago b4 people even started bringing them over to the states and i asked myself the same questions because i was looking for markings or and part#s to distigush the cams apart. I ended up using a dial caliper to check for lift between type-s cams and regular h22a cams. Type-s cams of course have more lift.

Yes i checked them b4 installing them. I checked both stock h22a and type-s when they were out. Its been soo long since i checked that i forgot sorry. All i can tell you is that they are visually larger.
