Ignition output signal?

Ignition output signal?
i checked the ecu codes on my gf's 1994 accord 4dr lx. i got code 15 which is Ignition output signal...what does that mean? ive searched a bit and the most popular answer ive found is that i should replace the distributor. i just want to confirm that. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

i would just try the ignition control module. thats what is the problem most of the time. if you have a book, it gives you a test procedure for testing the icm inside of the distributor
