Default Quality HID KIts

Im looking for a quality HID kit. I was looking on ebay and came accross a brand called MTEC and it seems to be pretty nice. everything is made in japan instead of china or korea.

Any thoughts? or sugestions on what i should get? i need H1 bulb size and 5000-6000K color temperture.

THere going in a new set of TYC projector housings. Just installed them and they look mean

Just for your knowledge. The HID kit from korea or China, isn't necessarly a "bad product" because it won't last, it's because the cost of labor is incredibly low.
There are lots of things that get done in China, and only get stamped and "ticketed" at another country.... and it will never say..."made in china".

no i know that, china can and does make SOME quality items. So at what price mark are you most likely going to get a quality item? that is the guessing game.

I would say... from 180 to 350......
Less than that... could be a low quality product.... unless it has warranty and stuff...

I plan on tryin to get some new pictures, but it's raining right now. Gonna try to set up the shots so they look more believeable. ISO at 1600 or 3200, contrast all the way down, and I'll try to get some other lighting in there for comparison. Everything in my setup is doin just fine.

Calm down dude!! lol I'm gonna say with 99.9998% certainty that you simply won't find an H4 HID bulb with just terminals, no wire. It's just completely impractical for anyone to manufacture that.

would you guys recomend 5000K or 6000K i know 5K is brighter, but 6000K has a nice white look. im somewhat leaning for the 6K since its the compramise between color and light output.

Hey AFAccord, how do you adjust the height of the low beams on your headlights? is it just the inner long screws on our housings?

Reason i ask is the right one is pointed slightly higher than the left, and there both pointed a little higher than they should, which doesnt bother me except im trying to be nice for other drivers.

When you take off the cap behind the low beam projectors, there are two phillips head screws on opposite corners. One adjusts vertically, the other, horizontally.

I'd prefer 5000K since it's closer to true daylight color. Let the cutoff shields do the color work.
