Default need some advice on b18a1

I have a 95 Civic DX with a b18a1 swap. It has type R pistons, crank, rods, .050 shaved head, crower springs and retainers.ported and polished. I am looking into some upgrades. Id like to run the bottle.

some things I need to look for

I dont know what cams are in it. they are not stock. How can I measure the lift/duration??

what should I do for the intake?? stock/aftermarket??

t/b?? bore or ITB's

fuel?? I was looking into 255 lph fuel pump and 255cc injectors.

spark?? stock or MSD of some sort??

PCM?? Stock ok or hondata (s10,s200,s300)???

Basically this will be a stree/strip car with limited daily use. hell it dosent matter, Ill tow it to the strip. Id just like to stick N/A with a little help

any suggestions that have helped you. Id like to get the motor right before I start on the suspension.

You can measure lift of cams pretty easily....the duration is a different story. I would either stick with stock injectors (and up fuel pressure a bit) or get 310cc injectors. I would stick with a stock 60mm throttle body (maybe bore it to 62-64mm at most) and get an aftermarket intake manifold (skunk2, aebs, etc). Stock ignition system should hold you just fine, with nitrous you'll need different plugs though. You will need to get hondata/uberdata/crome/other tuning device though.

been looking at the skunk2 intake. Most of them made power way out of where I needed, but I talked to a tech there and found something that would work.

I got in a DC Sport header for it and also a generic header. To my suprise the generic header looked alot better in build quility. All the dementios were the same, so I sent the DC back and saved my self the $200.

As for the plugs, they will be 2 stage colder ZEX plugs.

will the ECU not componsate for the bigger TB or injectors with out a tuning device??

BTW, 255cc injectors are barely larger then stock (240cc), so get atleast 310s to make a difference....and to do so you will have to get engine/fuel management.
