Default What's involved to swap from cable to hydro tranny and KEEP hydro??

I'm sure someone will know this. I want to know if I can just go full hydro on my CRX instead of doing a cable/hydro kit that keeps the cable drive. I want to put a hydro master and slave cylinder in there to keep the nice, smooth operation and get rid of the nasty clutch cable. Can this be done or is there not enough room to put a master cylinder in the car?? Did a search and only came up with people getting the Hasport cable/hydro kit that still uses the cable....

If you want to use OEM parts, you will have to cut a nice hole in the firewall to get the Clutch master cylinder to fit. If you are dead set on it, look Wilwood and Tilton product pages as they offer clutch pedals with relocated master cylinders.

I've thought the same myself, with all the mechanical crap in the cable systems, I'd really like to figure it out. Does the cable clutch work on the same fulcrum that a hydro does? like does the hydro pedal pull the CMC or push it? Does anyone know?

As for the actual travel of the piston in the CMC, I think that could be corrected with the use of spacers or washers.
