DPFI to MPFI HELPPP!!!!
ok i need to get my car running soon...i have just droped a mini me with a z6 head and a a6 block and a si tranny into my 89civic dx hatchback ok i need to convert it to MPFI now...i heard you can use a harness off a crx si and it will plug into my body harness and almost basicly be plug and plug and alot easier then using my stock motor harness ??? i just want to know if its ture that the crx si harness with just be plug and play??
ya.. taking the whole harness out seems like so much more work then moving a couple wires and bringing 4 new wiress to the engine.. plus vtec wires.

i thought the same thing when i swapped from my d15b to a odb0 b16a. but although the si harness will plug into the dx one, here is the problem. the internat connections that are made when the harnesses get plugged together do not match up. yes the connectors fit, but the wires are in different places for some items.. it would take more time to trouble shoot what goes where if you did this than if you ran the new wires from the ecu to the engine. if you want, you can use the si harness plugs with enough wire comming out of them to make an mpfi harness. it will allow you to unplug when you need to remove the engine instead of hard wiring everything.
