Default Want recommedation on the strut bar

Hi,

I've just recently upgrade my rim to 17 inch, and notice that it might be best for me to install strut bars as well. I do follow in the import market, but when it comes to personally, i really have no idea what to choose from. Can anyone with experience/knowlege suggest any good strut bar? And just a note, Mugen is really expensive for me now. (or should i get mugen front strut, and jsut whatever at the rear?)

I have a 2000 Civic Ex.

Thanks in advance!

David

Mugen bars are real beefy, I say get those, but if you can't afford it get the spoon bars, that's what everyone else seems to get

a pair of skunk bars will be relatively cheap and look good. Comptech, spoon, mugen, cusco, jic are all good bars with varying prices.

The cheap strut bars are, well just cheap. Low quality materials that aren't anywhere as stiff as a good quality bar. the front is more important then the rear.

those name brand strutbars aint all that. u can go prettybasic and cheap on strut bars and get the job done. what u shoul dbe focused on more if u want to feel a diff in the cars handling is a good set of sway bars front and rear..thats a change u can feel

I'm getting these pretty soon aswell, my choices are pretty much narrowed down to Skunk2 and Spoon. Haven't decided yet if i wanna spend the extra 40 on each for spoon or not. both look damn beefy though.

Question...Which bar is better the 99-00 SI or the Integra GSR? Was the Integra bar the same from 94-01? Does the bar fit right in or will I need to drill? Thanks!

A cheap strut tower brace is better than nothing. A good strut tower brace is better than a cheap one.

I replaced the front upper and rear upper OEM ITR braces on my car with SPoon pieces and I *can* tell a difference.

It all depends upon your pocketbook.
