I had a jdm center console and i have a 92 civic si hatch, and when i put it in it didnt fit. The mounting bracket didnt line up etc. Has anyone had this happen before where it doesnt even come close for holes to line up?

 

are you talking about the center arm rest console? if so flip the bracket around and it will line up

 

im talking about the optional audio console part... the shift boot part fits but audio part doesnt even line up and ****.

 

sounds like you got a rhd console.

Did you get the console for the EG6 (JDM) or did you buy the SI console on accident?...may sound stupid, but i knew a couple people who did this by mistake..i have the entire console out of the EG6 for my 95 Coupe and it fits perfect.

would agree, RHD or LHD, they both fit (mine does in my 93 hatch). to the OP, are you lining up the bracket right. when i installed mine i though the same, then i relized i wasn't lining the bracket up right.

 

yes it was lined up, i tried it multiple times. My friend that i got it from it fit in his hatch. It is a jdm one, i dont get it. Do si's need a supper special center console or something?
