Just got a 5 speed accord coupe and it is pretty much stock except for racing cluth and air intake. My question is what is the best setup for this engine? Comptech supercharger or what?

 

Supercharger or turbo. Whatever floats ur boat.

 

Yeah but I also wanna know what are some good all motor setups. I searched many places and can't find any good stuff for my J30 motor. I wanna to fix the internals as well

Theres no way in hell you own a 5spd 02 Accord V6.

 

Yea if its a 02 5 speed then its a 4cyl manual v6 didn't start till 03

Is it a v6 or i4? auto or 5speed whats the trim level I've been watching the first 48 and i feel like a detective

 

98-02 V6 Accords were only available with 4-speed automatics. No manual transmissions were offered unless you had a 4-cyl. 03 and newer V6 Accords were offered with 6-speed manual transmissions.

 

I don't know about that because I have a 01 accord V6 and it is manual. It might have a tranny swap but i don't know.

 

has to be a conversion from an acura CL or something.
There's no way any 6th gen V6s came stick.

Thats the only way that it would have a manual is if it had a tranny swap. Other then that they never made ANY 98-02 (6th gen) accords with a V6 manual, as previously stated.

Even if you had a tranny swap (which would be the ONLY way you could have a V6 w/ manual tranny for that year), the only manual transmissions that would bolt up to the V6 would be 6-speed manuals.

So... You either have a 5-speed manual transmission (and a 4-cyl to go with it), or you have a V6. Can't have both...

 

My trunk badge says V6 accord.. and I have a dyno sheet for over 205 HP so I think it is a V6. Well I won't have pictures of the car until it comes back from the shop. I gotta replace a broken window

Other clues would be:
1. dual exhaust
2. crack open the hood and you should see 2 banks of 3 aluminum intake runners each
3. a valve cover that says "3.0 VTEC"

 

Over 205 whp? You would have to have an 03 or newer V6 to put that down stock.

 

You know what. Lets make this simple.
-Tail lights? Connected or seperate

Yeah I haven't even seen the engine yet because I just believed that it was V6 from the trunk badge but I could be wrong.. I'm the third owner so I am not too sure what the hell it is..
