Default exhaust advice: (searched)

So i've searched and couldn't find anything that could help me. (yes "archived" was checked)

i got a 5th gen lude with stock 2.25 piping on a stock motor with a intake and fidanza fly. would it be beneficial to go with some 2.5 in piping on a exhaust? i don't plan on doing anything more on the motor. i was thinking that i won't need 2.5 in piping on a stock motor right?

With a stock engine.. No point, keep your 2.25. Unless you plan on doing more additions like Intake and Headers.. Just stick with your 2.25

The 2.5 will create less back pressure though.

if thats all your gunna do is intake. then leave 2.25 u wont reek any benefits on 2.5 unless you start doing more to the motor.

would it be beneficial? yes....

worth lies in the hands of the person looking to spend the money.

stock piping is not 2.25", 2.25" is what aftermarket catbacks like Greddy evo and Apex'i N1 have.
