If it's for street use, the proper size 15" tire for a CRX is 195/50-15, which isn't approved for mounting on a 15x7.5 wheel.

I wouldn't.

Sell the wheels, get some 15x6 wheels, and put 195/50-15 tires on them.

There are a lot of used 15x6 wheels available that should fit your car, such as the various years of Integra GS-R wheels.

Not to sound like an ***, but maybe you should ask on a VW forum what they would mount on a 15x7.5 wheel......

any wheel.. the reason you see bbs on most vw is that it is a european style wheel and most true vw guys use a bbs wheel

Well if the wheels would fit without rubbing, and you want to stretch a tire (which would make it less likely to rub the fender wells, why does what wheel-wells you have make a difference.

Just so you know, if you're doing a stretched look, you'll need to slam your car for it to look good because you're pulling down the sidewalls, thus making the overall profile lower. Just my two cents.

Good god, every time I see one of these cars with stretched tires I wonder how hard birth control is to use. Use the right size tire for your rim and car, please don't lower the collective IQ of H-T by doing any different. VW owners are crazy for a reason, who else would trump their car's "european engineering" when their cars consistently rank lower than Kia in reliability ratings.
