—» RAPFIX vs NRG quick release lock ???s
so i just got off the phone with a representative from ATW Inc. (also known as NRG Innovations) and apparently the NRG quick release lock has 100 different key combinations for it's quick release locks. before this phone call i heard that the NRG unit had around 50 key combinations.
i also spoke with a representative from Inline4 and apparently the Rapfix quick release lock has 10 different key combinations. before this phone call i heard that the Rapfix unit has a unique key for each quick release lock.
now i'm not saying both guys are lying, but does anyone have more feedback or knowledge about this? it's not like i can go to both of these companies and say "hey you lied about the key combinations because my car got stolen". there's no way i can prove that after the fact. companies are out to make money so what's going to stop them from fabricating lies about their product...especially if there's no way to prove them wrong?
anyway, i'm really interested in purchasing a quick release lock and i just want the facts before i drop $100+ on either of these products. i know that this alone won't stop thieves, but i'm a firm believer in buying as much time as possible by slowing down a thief by doing various amounts of anti-theft modifications to your car.
any personal experience with each product or any suggestions are all appreciated. let's share some good information because i'm pretty sure we all hate thieves.

I have a Camp1320 quick release. The only other quick release that I would get is the FET quick release that InlineFour has available.

i'd also like to know what's so special about those 2 you mentioned.

It is a spline design. And not everyone has one like the NRG. The only bad thing about it is that you smash you fingers every once and a while.
