Before anyone flames, my computer wont finish a search, it just spins.. and spins.. and spins
I have a 92 eh3, I recently bought some 6.5" Infinity Kappa Perfects for my front doors, then bought a Kappa Perfect Sub for the rear.. Now I would like to put some 5.25" Kappas where my rear passangers sit.
I know you can buy the jdm eg interior, and it comes with gathers. My question is, is the peice where the gathers come removeable from a USDM hatch? I think Ive read some where that all hatches came pre wired for rear speakers? Should I have enough clearance for 5.25" speakers?
TIA!!

All Honda/Acuras come pre-wired for rear speakers.
If I remember right there is enough clearance for a 6x9, if we are talking about the Civic with the rear speakers just above the rear arm rests, there is an "up" version of the car that came with rear speakers, [in Canada anyway], find one at a wrecker, and get the grills and speaker mounting bracket, or you can make a grill from the dummy panels and make your own speaker mounting bracket out of MDF and install just about any speaker you want.

if you want oem go here. look up 94-95 si they came standard with rear speakers, or look up other hatches under electrical or interior (i cant remember) accessories and buy it as a kit.
