Hey everybody, just yesterday i installed a skunk2 manifold on my 94 gsr and it seemed like the install went fine, but after i was finnished i started it up and for some reason i saw it was ideling very odd. it would just rev up and down between 1 & 3 thousand. so i checked over everything (hoses and sensors) and i didnt see anything wrong. anybody have and suggestions / this happen to anyone before? could it just be a vacume line in the wrong place or do you believe i could of damaged a sensor? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

try cleaning out your IACV (idle air control valve) or FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve) if you have one, and then adjust your idle and reset your ecu and see if that works

 

probably a vacuum leak. Unplug the iacv and see where it idles....if its above 700 then its a leak somewhere. Did you use the correct throttle body gasket? Have all your vacuum hoses hooked up properly?
