Aussie ITR dyno power figures ?
just would like to know what type of figures (stock / modded) you guys are getting on our dynos in Australia
i've just recently had mine tuned on a dyno dynamics dyno and have seen great increases with mods added
have added intake, custom 4-1 header, custom 2.5" exhuast, cam gears and apexi power fc
some might remember me posting how i was running extrememly rich after i added i/h/e, 10.1 a/f ratio which meant me burning a high flow cat
so the numbers b4 113hp (approx 83kw) at wheels, after 144.5hp (approx 106 kw)at wheels, with considerable increases from 5000rpm onwards
all runs where done in 4th gear
would fellow Oz owners care to sare there dyno experiences, overall im extremely happy with results

pretty good numbers...I recently dynoed on a dyno dynamics dyno and got 157whp
I personally find that the runs are more consistent with the dyno dynamics dyno compared to dynojets.

zxcv123: very different, header was made by jeff from EDR, http://www.exhaustdynamics.com.au
comprised of a 4- 1 design using stepped primarys and 3" merge collector
only bad thing about it is clearence, it hangs fairly low

Hi S. I brought it down to 2 Honda dealers to have it checked out. They said said "under normal driving conditions" they couldn't fault it. So they said there's nothing to fix. It's presently crunching near redline, but as this progresses, it'll start crunching at lower and lower revs. So I'll just drive it untill the crunching is totally obvious and see what they'll say then. Cheers!
How's your car by the way? Everything sorted out? Calder this Sunday?

Thanks ITR 99. Torque curve? And I thought all along that was the air/fuel plot. That shows how much I really know. The guy worked on the car for about 1.5hours punching away on the V-AFC and fiddling with the ignition timing. Cheers!
Post your dynograph if you can.

hey fellow aussie ITR's.......
this is OT, but some one brought up the subject abt gears crunching, perhaps my experience may be of help to you's.
Flush out your old transmission fluid and pour in some new Honda MTF+ and a tube of Nulon G70. That thing is sickkk!!!, you wont believe this but it actually cured the crunching and it shifts beaitifully now.

ITR 99, that's great.
The current curve is a beefed up version of the pretuned curve.
Amazing tuning magic.

13 flat would be interesting, but anything above that should be a walk in the park. Let us know how you go. What exhaust setup have you got? Cheers!
ops I meant like a high 13 sec 1/4
exhuast, its made by jeff garland from EDR aswell, he makes his own resonators and mufflers - the whole system, his work gets a
