Anyone find videos anywhere of an s2000 with gears so my friend can see the difference, he doesnt believe they make that much of a difference.

anyone else notice the tire marks on the road after the red s2k shifted to 2nd??

 

hahah i enjoyed the 2nd gear tire marks. does anyone have more information about the gears. Like what are the highway rpms at ussually and so on.

 

would a lightweight flywheel have a comparable performance gain like the gears ? both will make the revs quicker but with the flywheel you do not lose any rpm's. just a faster drop when the clutch is in.

 

that black line is a crack in the road, not from spinning his tires.

 

i dont know about cracks... looks more like tire marks

 

look at where the "tire mark" is in relation to the dashed white line dividing the lanes. he would have had to be driving on top of the lane dividing line. then lool further along in the video... is his passenger side tire randomly breaking free? no, its more cracks/patches in the asphalt.

 

well that ruins half the fun lol

 

ha i agree its less fun, but theres no way a "stock" S2000 is going to leave a 12-15 foot burnout mark that is that distinct in 2nd gear at speed.

 

yea true, still crazy. i didnt no there was that kind of gain on stock s2k's i am impressed
