Default .need some motor advice...

alright well..
---I have a R block im rebuilding with shot peened rods, Jdm Itr 11.1:1 compression .25 over stock pistons, Arp rod bolts and head studs and a 10 pound lightened flywheel,ACL race bearrings, and OEM piston rings.
--- My head is a b16a head.. im rebuilding it with stock valves, supertech springs and retainers, Itr intake manifold, Jdm 4-1 itr exhaust manifold, Gsr LCA's, and for now GSR cams. I am planning on going with rocket m22x cams and spoon cam gears... but for now just GSR cams....
So i guess my question is what do u guys think of my setup and should i just burn chrome basemap similar to jdm itr untill i get new cams and break it in with the chrome basemap????
thx

Even a stock engine can benefit from engine management and a tuner that knows what he's doing. So with that being said, I would definetley do Crome or Crome Pro and tune it. The Spoon gears are a good gear, I would say the Toda's are a bit more accurate but either one is a good choice. Golden Eagle believe it or not are probably the most accurate gears you can buy right now.

how do they compare in prices bud???? U know i wnat those cams lol.. but i totaled my car so that money is going to my new hatch and just trying to get my stupid motor done lol... so cams and gears have to wait..... so you would suggest taking it for a crome basemap and maybe a few dyno pulls and tuning for the stock motor till then???
