Best clutch for a LS Turbo?
ACT heavy duty 6puck. thats what i use.
The 6 puck from ACT is an unsprung disc though, so be careful. It will probably chatter. ACT claims that the 6 puck chatters LESS than the 4 puck. I have the 4 puck and it chatters a lot. However, a few days ago, there was a thread where people have said that the 6 puck is a lot worse than the 4 in terms of streetability.

I am running a clutchmasters stage 5 Pressure plate mated to my stock clutch done over in Kevlar and had the flywheel notched... really short pedal travel, ALMOST stock feel on engagement AND great grab ! Plus it SHOULD last almost as long as a stock clutch on a stock LS. I run an LS tranny and 12psi DD
Clutch Masters Stage 3 Carbon/Kevlar...lasts long, very grabby...I don't think ACT is quite as good. And he won't need any 4 or 6 puck clutches (especially with un-sprung hubs
) on a daily driven car only running 6 psi.

What is the opinion of the centerforce dual friction clutch? It says it is like a stage II clutch. I read an article about it and it has the counter weights on the PP to make the pedel easier to push.
I have heard a lot of bad things about Centerforce, both on web boards, and from racers I have talked to one-on-one...
