That should be the best. ACT is good....Heavy Duty pressure plate isn't too tough on you like the Extreme series. It's good for the street, plus good grabbing power for the track.

The 6 puck from ACT is an unsprung disc though, so be careful. It will probably chatter. ACT claims that the 6 puck chatters LESS than the 4 puck. I have the 4 puck and it chatters a lot. However, a few days ago, there was a thread where people have said that the 6 puck is a lot worse than the 4 in terms of streetability.

So far no complaints with an Exedy flywheel/clutch combo...

EXEDY or ACT. Two of the best in the business.

I am running a clutchmasters stage 5 Pressure plate mated to my stock clutch done over in Kevlar and had the flywheel notched... really short pedal travel, ALMOST stock feel on engagement AND great grab ! Plus it SHOULD last almost as long as a stock clutch on a stock LS. I run an LS tranny and 12psi DD

I've used ACT 4 puck and Clutchnet 4puck on my LSTurbo

both of them hold up fine...

Clutch Masters Stage 3 Carbon/Kevlar...lasts long, very grabby...I don't think ACT is quite as good. And he won't need any 4 or 6 puck clutches (especially with un-sprung hubs ) on a daily driven car only running 6 psi.

What is the opinion of the centerforce dual friction clutch? It says it is like a stage II clutch. I read an article about it and it has the counter weights on the PP to make the pedel easier to push.

I have heard a lot of bad things about Centerforce, both on web boards, and from racers I have talked to one-on-one...
