Civic 98 DX idle problem

My civic's check engine light came on and later it started idling erratically. Does anybody know what might be wrong with my car? Drives normally but at the lights it revs up and down.

first get tha CEL light checked out...snce your car is OBD2, i suggest takin it to autozone and have them check it for free...then it should lead you to the culprit

Probably IACV, from the sound of it.
Check the code (several how-to's available...you do not have to go to retarded autozone to check it) and go from there.
