After spending the summer filling up the R with way too much oil, that's what the head look like....... The motor was burning almost 1 liter/1000 km....

My gf is a mecanic...so she's working on it at lost time.....so far.. she told me that the head would be ok.. just need a lot of cleaning.... Main cause for my problemem would seem to be bad timing and piston ring

I'll get more pic when the project move on.....

def looks like you were burning alot of oil in cylinder 1 and 4. For ***** see if the exhuast manifold is consistant of those cylinders being really carbed up. Might wanna do vavle seals while the heads out also never hurts. Whats the cylinders look like crosshatches and thrust? Any pics?
