There should be something on this in one of the stickies and or the search will help.
I remember seeing a few posts it's a semi common issue during the install.

not sure....i just got the pinouts out my teg and crx fsm and matched up the functions. The dimmer switches are defintely interchangeable though.
i don tknow the specific wqire colors off hand though. even if i did, mine was an 89 so its wired up differently.

It's the Ed Roth shifter.
The cluster looks decent....a better fit than I'd have thought.

My shifter is from Fastline Performance. I enjoy it very much, helped in AutoX quite a bit, and its fine for street driving. Great engagement, nice crisp shifts.
so you just matched wire with wire and everything worked? do you know much about wireing? i am getting power to the bulbs but on both sides when one side should be grounded but i think that has something do do with the dimmer.

so these 2 go to 12v power? i have red from crx going to red/blk teg and red/blk going to red teg. i know the problem is in these to wires right?

Damn, looks like some of that, that I posted was wrong, looking back at some other diagrams I have.
pin 4 on the 12P crx plug is the dimmer control for gauges. Goes to pin 9 on 16P connector.
Pin 5 on the 12P connector is the power for the lights. Goes to pin 10 on 16P connector.
This should be correct. let me know if there are any other q's. If need be, I'll go take my cluster hood off and check it out.
