Im curious where you guys mounted your FPR and how you ran the lines to it. Also if you have pics of braided line from the fuel filter to the rail id like to see them as well. Thanks. This is in a 92-95 hatch.

Same idea, this is with a VictorX though. The FPR in this picture is the Compact EFI....however now I have the A1000 regulator. The A1000 is mounted the exact same way as in this picture.

 

I had mine mounted on the drivers side shock tower with -6 line running to it from the rai. Now with the new fuel system its mounted on the firewall. Much better idea then having its weight supported by an aluminum fitting.

That is the worst way to mount it my man, that is too much weight on an aluminum fitting and has a very good chance of cracking. If that fitting cracks your car is gonna be a rolling fireball.

 

I'm ditchin my boot leg B&M for one of the aeromotive ones this weekend. I was thinking about mounting it on the fire wall too. In for pics.

JG intake manifold with Aeromotive A1000 fpr, -6 lines, str fuel rail. Yes, its a dohc ZC.

doesnt matter what manifold you have if you run a line from the fuel rail to the fpr - you can put the fpr anywhere you want.

haha how did I know that someone would say that. Last time I checked 99.9% of people on here have not personally seen my car so I'll explain the picture. The aluminum fitting is not supporting it's weight completely on its own. The braided hose coming from the bottom is supporting the weight. If I disconnect that fitting then it just sits there and doesn't drop down. The fitting simply keeps it in place. After 2 years of doing it like that, I'm not too concerned that anything is going to happen....mainly because it won't since that is fine.

Ah okay. Mount it anywhere it fits nicely. Ive seen some guys mount it to the right of the clutch/brake reservoir up in that corner. But most people mount it where i did, just on the firewall behind the engine out of the way.

what size fitting is used to adapt the stock fuel filter to -6AN, and what angle fitting is that out of the filter? 150 degree?

You need a 12x1.25mm to -6AN fitting. I used a 120* hose end for mine. From the looks of it the other picture used a 150*. Just depends on how you want to run it.

notice the FPR is turned sideways? I use a bracket from camp1320 to set it like that.

Here's a shot of mine. FPR is attached with a 3/4" boss to -6an fitting to the rail, -6an 45* coming off the bottom tying into the stock -6an steel line using a flare fitting.
