Hey guys, just out of curiosity.

I just got back from Buttonwillow over the past weekend. I hadnt washed my just yet. But when I was washing it. I noticed that the back bumper by the tail pipe had a discoloring film on there? It looks like when you dump motoroil into water. It gets that rainbow effect?

Im thinking it might be fuel? Can that be oil accumulation from rev matching alot during the track event?

Chris, whats all that oil from? Man, Im not really a tech guru so excuse my ignorance. Were you the guy with the loud PYR?

 

Unburned fuel...running too rich I believe?

 

Could be either or---oil Sol will take care of both

 

aaaaaaaaaaa no that will mess up the clear coat and the finish just get some cleaner wax and use that
