Cluster Swap??? Curious if this one is possible... yet?
Someone on a local honda forum is selling an 06 Si cluster.... just curious if anyone has yet to install this and make it functionable in an EG or DC??? I've read about the S2000 cluster going into an EG w/ some sort of custom box/ mechanism to make it fully functional.
.... Anyone?

It's all in the matter of how much money you had. And I've seen the '06 clusters,
It will take 30 Billion dollars to Fab it in.

It's the same deal as the S2k cluster. The problem is that the EG puts out an analog reading while the S2k puts out a digital reading, so you have to convert the analog to digital for it to work for both the speedo and the tach.
Now on the Si cluster it's a bit different, from what I've seen it appears to have an analaog tach and a digital speedo, so you're going to need to convert the analog speedo from the VSS to digital before it can even plug in, then solder it to a harness that'll plug in. I'm not sure about the tach in the new Si's though so I couldn't tell ya there.
Though that's just functionality.
It won't fit (at least I don't believe it will) worth of ****.
Conclusion:
Save your money.
