Hi. I'm a Civic 2006/2007 newbie who dislikes the original High Pitched Horn/Honk unit. (Sounds like a small delivery van-type honk.) Anyone out there who has changed the horn unit? Perhaps replacing with the one in the Accord? You would think Honda sedan cars should have the same horn unit.

I would imagine any type of horn could work in any car with the right know how.

 

I want to replace my horn with one off a Mack truck. I would not really attempt it but it would be great entertainment

I've had a couple people order Fit horns because they "sound better" than the stock civic one... I imagine that an accord one would fit to.

Accord horns:
LOW: 38150-SDA-A03
HIGH: 38100-SDB-A01 < need this one

*Edit Fit horn is the same as the accord 38100-SDB-A01

collegehills honda says that 38100-SDB-A01 is the low assembly but you say high... which one is it? and which one do i need? i would also like to change this.

 

Sorry, the 38100 is the low ... you need the low horn. typing in the morning &gt; ME
