I'm looking to buy a car soon and s2000 is my number one pick and number two is civic si. Should I buy a used one of any model year? My target price range is like... less than $27,000. I know that there's a risk of buying a used s2000, like it gets driven the crap out of it. And is the engine reliable like those civics?

u can find an 05 with less then 15k miles for under 25 grand, they are out there u just have to search, i bought my 04 with 17k miles for 23.5

 

You can find a S2000 w/ low mileage cheaper then a brand new SI. You gotta think about insurance also because the S is one of the top 10 most exspensive cars to insure. Just keep looking around, if I were you I'd look for a bone stock S2000. Don't rush into getting it. I just bought my 03' Berlina Black a week before Christmas and love it. Good luck

 

it depends on where u live, i pay 55 bucks a month for insurance with a 500 deductible.

 

I pay like 120$ a month for lowest liability on 95 toyota avalon and planning to put insurance under parents name heh.

 

s2k are a dime a dozen now. look around, theirs tons of good deals. great car.
