Default Question about front end conversions?

Ok fellas, Ive got a 96 EK hatch. I was looking into selling my hatch and picking up a stock teg with a few mods or whatever and throwing a JDM ITR front on it....so Ive been wondering...why not just get a JDM ITR front end and put it on the hatch?

Whats involved in putting a JDM ITR front on a 96 civic hatch???

Any help will be appreciated.

well a bit of welding and custom bracketing. if you are sure you want to do it, you will find that it is not so tough. fenders will have to be mended and you will want to form some type of bracing in the front for the headlights and bumper. the hood will be the easiest part. and you can sell your stock civic parts too!

Your car, your tastes...

Dunno how it would look though, headlights to me I'm thinking would be too slim for the rear since we have the triangular tails.

Most likely you would have to make some mount brackets for the headlights and bumper, maybe you could use the stock mounting points, integra fenders may have to be cut to fit properly... hood I have no idea, it may not fit correctly.

I've only seen two egs with this done, one in a mag and one in person, but he had the 4 eye integra front end and I wasn't feeling it, although he did a hella of a good job on fitting everything properly to where it looked OEM. That and it had a boosted LS in it.

A friend of mine had an ITR front on his ek coupe it looked.........ok i guess but on a hatch no way it just makes the front end look to big I don't know it's your car but I say just buy a teg and save yourself the hassle
