the difference between a base and an SH is in the FAQ. But the main one is the ATTS unit that the SH is equipped with.

yeah this question could be easily solved by the search option... like said before sh = 97 to 01 prelude model with atts. s = 4th gen up to 96. then there is the type -s which is a jdm lude 5th gen model. read the faq's or search first plz...

It's hard to formulate strings for adequate searching sometimes. If you search for "Type S" then you're not going to get much. The search engine won't even see the "S" when it searches.

I suspect that the original poster is confusing some USDM usages with the JDM Type S Prelude, because everyone is buying Type S pistons for their builds of H22 motors.

If you are referring to the JDM Type S Prelude, the big deal is that you can get a little more power out of your H22 engine build by using Type S pistons.
It's pretty easy for a rules compliant H1 Honda Challenge H22 to get up around 260 HP on a Dynojet if you are careful with the parts, the rules and the build.
