Default Paint my kosei k1

I bought a used set of kosei k1 and i never like the color it cames so i decided to pain them gunmetal. I start with sandblasting then polished them with 180 and 400 grit prior to paint.

when i first bought them

after sandblast

spend 2 hours on each wheel

Final product

Did a similar project with my stock ITR wheels, bead blasting's fun.

Your final product looks great! Let's see some installed pictures.

I also refinished my K1's black, but I only did the surface (striped and primed visible area). Here is my rattle can result:

Sandblasting isn't the best media for stripping wheels - you wouldn't have had to sand them down at all if you would have plastic media blasted them.

Are those the stock lug nuts? They are a no-no on aftermarket wheels BTW.

Stock wheels require an acorn style-seat (like the OEM lugs). Aftermarket wheels require conical lugs. Id get those off of there ASAP if it was me, as they will not torque down against the wheel and seat properly.
