I'm trying to find amber colored front bumper lenses for my '91 hatch. Do they exist? I couldn't find any on Ebay.

 

they make amber lenses for the 90-91 crx that Might fit.

 

if u want amber lenses..u could always paint them with a clear orange paint..like wat i did..the outcome looks pretty good..

Painted mine with Krown Stain Glass Paint (Orange)
they turned out pretty good. take a look.

 

Paint them! Much cheaper and might even turn out better since you can pick the color you want "darkness/lightness"

 

lol i think he was asking about the bumper lenses...not the corner lights. you can still paint them the same though. the painting lasts longer on the bumper lights anyway, as you can paint them from the back, to protect from chipping and fading. good luck finding the 90-91 amber bumper lights for the hatch though.

 

yea i painted mine too! cheap and looks good, use tamiya clear orange in a can or you can brush it on. i also have those amber corner lights in the above ebay link (same seller as well) they fit pretty good too i didnt have any real issues with them.

 

I can't find the amber bumper lights for my 89 crx. There are some for the 90/91 on ebay, but not 88/89.
Regarding the paint, I went to Joanns and Micheals but did not find it. Micheals had a yellow glass paint, but not orange.

 

go to a model shop for the paint, theres no reason they wouldnt stock tamiya stuff.

That was a rhetorical question. Seriously, though, 88-89 bumper lenses can be purchased from places like majestic honda (www.hondaautomotiveparts.com) for something like $4 each.

Check Koyo Industries here on honda-tech. The have the amber corners and bumper lenses for 88-89 civics and crx's

Why even bother with that when you can buy them from a Honda dealer for $5 a lens?
