hey i have a gsr swap 92 w/ a 94 motor .. the gsr motor is in a 92 hatchback vx.. i got it done professional at 1320 custom fab.. and was hoping if that would pass smog and reffing.. anywase how do they reff.. what do they do when they reff your car?

 

I believe there's a thread that lists completely what happens when you take your car to a California Smog Ref. Its actually a really interesting thread....try to search around and find it, and i'll do the same. If I find it...i'll edit this post and give it to you.

all the emissions equipment must be hooked up and working with no CEL's. then you can take it to be bar'ed. once it's bar'ed it'll be legit. that's how it is with my b18c1 swapped 95 coupe.

i bought my car with all this already done so i couldnt tell you how the process is.

 

Just call to schedule an appointment at 800-622-7733. You basically go to a state smog station. They do a visual test to make sure all smog equipment is on. Then do a tailpipe emmissions test. If everything passes they put a sticker on your that says you have a different motor in the car
