the side view mirror (driver side) on ym freind's CL is cracked. would it be easier and cheaper to just replace the mirror itself or the whole side view mirror assembly? if it is cheaper/easier just to replace the mirror can some link me to a write-up

it pops right off using a scewdriver covered with a cloth. there are 3 fingers that hold it on
