Putting a new cat in my 5th prelude... any advie/tips?
Soak the nuts in WD40 or in some kind of rust eater. Those nuts can be welded on there from all the rust and heat over the years.
Soak them overnight, work on it in the morning.

Feed it and give it a litterbox this time.
But seriously, did your catalytic converter go bad due to age or was it random?
If it was due to a problem, the new cat could fail for the same reason as the last one. Just wanted to check, let us know.

well my car has been running rich and has had some blow-by so im assuming that my 02 sensor is out to, so i am replacing both, im really hoping that will fix the problem. I know that cat is bad because its rattling like a mother.
