Are you talking about the power steering pump pulley? If not... i COULD ASSUME you are talking about the tensioner/idle pulley.

An yes, if you are replacing the pulley for whatever reason... I would throw a new belt on there anyways. You have to take the old one off... so why not?

well i bolted on the aem pulley kit which had a lighter and much much much larger pulley then the stock power steering pulley ... it took me and my team about 9 HOURS cause we keep running into problems with the bolts being too hard to reach plus we were working on a 300z at the same time ... i got it from the dealership over here and haggled the price down to 160 plus tax ... online price was around the same ... the new belt came with the package so dont worry about buying another belt ... the pulley kit also came with another pulley ... dont ask me which one cause i dont remember ... it was a while back ... i just remember that it was hard trying to not lose all my power steering fluid (ended up buying more) ... the box will have all the instruction in it so dont worry about any more info ... also the tensioner is something else ... it helps increase the life of your engine ... dont ask me how i rather not explain ... ive written enough nonsense as it is ... but ask me what ever else you want ...
