Are you staying All Motor? Are you getting the header for cheap? Does it have a 2.25" collector?

My opinion, save for a better header or buy a used DC JDM ITR 4-1 with a 2.5" collector if you don't have the funds. The 4-2-1 design of the regular DC header sucks in my opinion.

i would think a 4-2-1 would work best with a stock block ls/vtec, which is what i'm assuming you have.
but you can use a gsr or an itr header with that combo...a b16 one won't clear the oil pan b/c it has a shorter block and most likely an ls will not either b/c whatever head you have is slightly taller than an ls head

A 4-2-1 is not the preferred choice, do a search on lsvtec header and read through the dyno results. Your best choice will be a 4-1 with a 2.5 collector. If you can't afford a DTR, RNR, or something like that, look into profab or jdm dc itr header. Profab isn't a bad price at 500 bucks and will make a good bit more power than a DC.
