Terminology
yes i used the mighty red button before i posted.
Ok I'm pretty new to the site, and I think this would help everyone that isn't as car literate as most of the people on this board. What I'm talking about is making a legend for all the common terms people use on this board, eg.. CAI ...e/i/h....Some of them are pretty obvious but to a newbie (like myself) I don't understand half the **** you guys are talking about. I presonaly feel embarassed asking a question like that everytime i read a thread. If maybe someone with above average knowlege can make a little legend for us noobs translating all the short form expressions used on Honda-Tech that would be great
something like;
AEM-CAI : AEM Cold Air Intake
thnx, cheers

These are the only ones you need to know:
FTW = For The Win
FTMFW = For The Mother Foking Win
FTL = For The Loss
OIS = Ooopsy I Sharted
Most of the ones you will see are abreviations or shortcuts to regulart parts such as MAP for manifold absolute pressure or IAC and such. Some of the are just brand names like SMSP, even thought the do have a wording. With enought reading and over time youll figure them out.
EG and EK are the body styles of different model civics, BB4 and BB6 are th chassi codes of Preludes, these are common and were not invented by us. Most of them come from Honda themselves.
